The Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE) was published in September 2011  This report compares the faculty responses to the students' responses on the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). MSU began administering FSSE in 2006 in an attempt to compare the faculty's perspective of how students feel to what the students reported.

The results of this survey should be used to identify areas for improvement in MSU's curriculum, pedagogical practices, student-faculty interaction, community involvement, diversity interaction and student support.
